When You Receive a Difficult Diagnosis
The report says one thing — but the blood says something else. By His stripes, you ARE healed. Stand on the finished work.
Welcome, friend.
You just heard words that changed everything. The diagnosis has a name now — and that name is terrifying. The doctor delivered it with compassion but the words still hit like a freight train. Now your mind is racing through treatments, outcomes, and worst-case scenarios. You're scared.
I want you to know today: There is a report that predates and overrides the doctor's report. "By His stripes we are healed" — past tense. It's already done. Healing was purchased at the Cross. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in your mortal body.
Opening Prayer
Father, come near. We bring before You the one who just received a difficult diagnosis. Let healing flow through their body. Override every medical report with Your report. Let them feel Your healing presence tangibly. In Jesus' name, Amen.
"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed." — Isaiah 53:5 (NIV)
And also: "He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross..." — 1 Peter 2:24 (NIV)
Listen to me: Healing is not a hope — it's a finished work. Jesus didn't just pay for your sins — He paid for your sickness. Every stripe on His back purchased healing for your body. The diagnosis may have a name, but the name of Jesus is above every name — including the name of your disease.
When you take Communion facing a diagnosis, you're saying: "I receive the healing Jesus already purchased. I stand on the report of the Lord, not the report of man. I declare that by His stripes I AM healed — not 'will be,' not 'might be,' but AM. And I enforce the finished work of the Cross over every cell in my body."

Declarations
Speak these truths over yourself
"By His stripes, I AM healed — past tense, finished work."
"The report of the Lord overrides every medical report."
"The name of Jesus is above the name of this disease."
"The same Spirit who raised Christ lives in me."
"Healing is my inheritance — I receive it now."
You are beloved. You are healed. The blood speaks a better word — and it's the final word.
There is no limit on claiming what belongs to you.
Go in peace.
