Community Impact
Showing Up in the Community
Nicole Washington Ministries is actively engaged in outreach initiatives that strengthen families, support students, serve neighbors, and build stronger communities.

Civic Engagement
Speaking to Civic Leaders & Community Stakeholders
Pastor Nicole Washington was honored to address members of an international civic organization at its local chapter meeting, sharing insights on civic engagement, community leadership, personal responsibility, and the importance of active citizenship.
Drawing from her extensive background in education, leadership development, ministry, and community outreach, Nicole challenged attendees to recognize the vital role each individual plays in strengthening communities and creating positive change.
"Real change begins when ordinary people decide to become responsible stewards of their communities, their influence, and their opportunities to serve."
— Pastor Nicole Washington

Education & Scholarships
Investing in the Future Through Education
Nicole Washington Ministries believes that one of the greatest ways to strengthen communities is to invest in the next generation. As part of our commitment to education and community empowerment, we proudly supported the NAACP Scholarship Program to assist deserving students in pursuing their educational goals.
Education has the power to transform lives, open doors, and create opportunities that impact families and communities for generations. By partnering with organizations that share a commitment to excellence, equity, and opportunity, we are helping students move one step closer to achieving their dreams.
- Supporting deserving students through scholarship funding
- Partnering with civic organizations committed to education
- Encouraging young people to pursue higher education and leadership
- Building stronger communities through educational equity

Community Advocacy
Advocating for Community Voices
Pastor Nicole Washington has long believed that meaningful change begins when citizens become actively engaged in the communities where they live, work, and serve. As founder of Impact Johns Creek and a dedicated community advocate, Nicole participated in a public meeting of the Arts, Entertainment, and Culture Committee to encourage greater community involvement in the planning and celebration of Juneteenth.
During her remarks, she emphasized the importance of honoring the historical significance of Juneteenth as a distinct celebration while ensuring that diverse community voices are represented in the planning process. Her commitment to civic engagement extends beyond ministry walls — informed citizens, collaborative leadership, and community participation are essential to building stronger, more inclusive communities.
"Faith should not only transform our lives; it should inspire us to positively impact the communities we call home."
— Pastor Nicole Washington
Through public advocacy, community partnerships, educational initiatives, and civic involvement, Nicole Washington continues to champion opportunities that bring people together, preserve cultural heritage, and create positive change for future generations.

Holiday Outreach
Food Is Personal
During Thanksgiving and Christmas, one of the things I love most is giving grocery gift cards to families and individuals who may need a little extra support.
Every household is different. Every family has different needs, different diets, different tastes, and different traditions. That is why I love giving grocery cards — because people get the dignity of going to the store and choosing what they actually want and need.
Sometimes we give grocery bags, and we are grateful to do that too. But grocery gift cards allow people to shop for the food that fits their home, their table, and their heart.
In 2025, Nicole Washington Ministries was blessed to give over $1,000 in grocery support to help bring relief, dignity, and hope to others.
This is what ministry looks like:
- Resources distributed.
- Lives touched.
- Hope delivered.
More Than Patients. More Than Staff. Family.
One of the unexpected blessings of my dialysis journey has been the relationships that have grown along the way.

STRONGER TOGETHER
Nicole Washington & Lorenzo Jones, Facilities Administrator
Pictured with Lorenzo Jones, Facilities Administrator of Peachtree Dialysis Center, this photograph represents more than a community partnership — it represents family.
As a dialysis patient, I spend countless hours each week at Peachtree Dialysis Center. Over time, the clinic has become more than a place where I receive treatment. It has become a second home filled with people who have walked beside me through challenges, victories, setbacks, and moments of hope.
Lorenzo's leadership, compassion, and commitment to the patients and staff have helped create an environment where people are treated with dignity, respect, and genuine care.
Through our partnership between Nicole Washington Ministries and Peachtree Dialysis Center, we share a common mission:
- Encouraging people
- Supporting families
- Reminding every patient that they are more than a diagnosis
I am grateful not only for this partnership, but for the relationships that have grown from it.

My Peachtree Family
Pastor Nicole · Mr. Johnny Capers · Ms. Veronica Majors
Pictured here are two people who have become very special parts of my life at Peachtree Dialysis Center.
Mr. Johnny Capers — "Neighbor"
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning, long before most people are awake, we find ourselves side by side in neighboring dialysis chairs. What began as sharing space has grown into friendship. Johnny has a gift for making people laugh, and on difficult mornings, his humor, kindness, and positive spirit have often been just what I needed.
"Sometimes God sends encouragement through a sermon, and sometimes He sends it through a neighbor sitting in the chair beside you."
Ms. Veronica Majors — Lead Patient Care Technician
Veronica has literally helped save my life during dialysis treatments. Her skill, attentiveness, and commitment to patient care have made an immeasurable difference in my journey. Beyond that, she has become one of the kindest, sweetest, and most compassionate people I know. Our relationship has grown far beyond patient and technician. Today, I lovingly consider her my goddaughter.
Dialysis is never a journey anyone chooses. But along the way, God often places remarkable people in our path.
Some people become family by blood.
Others become family by showing up, caring, serving, and walking beside you when life is hard.
These are my Peachtree Dialysis Center family.
For that gift, I am deeply grateful.
— Pastor Nicole Washington

FAB Women: Sisterhood Redefined
FAB Women is more than a support group — it's a movement of women who refuse to let life's hardest blows have the final word.
We think deeply about our faith, our choices, and how we show up for one another.
No masks. No pretending. We bring our real struggles and our real victories.
Open hearts, open minds — ready to receive from God and from each other.
Vulnerability is our superpower. We share the hard parts without shame.
We don't give up. On God, on ourselves, or on each other.
Every woman's story has the power to spark hope in another.
We walk in the authority and purpose God has given us.
Not just friends — sisters in Christ, bound by love and covenant.
What Happens in a FAB Women Session
- Opening prayer and Scripture meditation to center our hearts
- Check-in round — each woman shares where she really is, no filter
- Topic discussion guided by Nicole or a guest facilitator
- Breakout small groups for deeper conversation and prayer
- Closing affirmation and Scripture to carry into the week
- Optional: stay after for informal connection time
Is FAB Women Right for You?
FAB Women is for any woman who has ever felt alone in her struggle — women navigating chronic illness, grief, relationship challenges, career transitions, faith deconstruction, or simply the exhaustion of holding it all together.
You don't need to have your life together to join. You just need to be willing to show up, be real, and trust that God is working — even when you can't see it yet.

Family Redefined
Family Doesn't Always Mean of Human
It Can Take All Forms
Family is the love that shows up. The loyalty that never leaves. The presence that says "you belong here." Sometimes family walks on two legs. Sometimes on four. What matters is the connection, the commitment, and the covenant.
In God's kingdom, family transcends species, circumstance, and expectation. It is defined by love, by showing up, and by the sacred bond that says "you are mine, and I am yours."
