Welcome
You are welcome here — exactly as you are. Whether you feel vulnerable because of a specific threat, are carrying a general sense of unease about your safety or your family's safety, are walking through a season where the spiritual battle feels intense, or simply know that you need the covering of Almighty God over your life — this Communion Service was prepared for you.
There are seasons when life feels exposed. Maybe you received bad news that made your future feel uncertain. Maybe you are in a situation where the risks are real and the outcomes are unknown. Maybe you sense in your spirit that the enemy is prowling, seeking to steal, kill, and destroy. In those moments, you need more than positive thinking. You need the supernatural protection of the God who covers you with His feathers.
"He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." — Psalm 91:4
Opening Prayer
Father God,
I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ — the One who is my refuge, my fortress, my God in whom I trust. Thank You that I do not have to protect myself by my own strength. Thank You that You have not left me exposed to the schemes of the enemy or the dangers of this world.
Lord, I bring every area of vulnerability before You. I bring my home, my family, my health, my finances, my mind, and my spirit. I bring the threats I know about and the ones I do not see. I bring the fear that tightens my chest in the middle of the night. I lay every concern about safety and security at Your feet — because You are the only One who can truly keep me safe.
I quiet my heart now. I stop trying to scan the horizon for danger. I stop running through contingency plans in my mind. I fix my eyes on You — the God who covers me with His feathers, the God who commands His angels concerning me, the God who is my shield and my rampart. Meet me at this Table.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
Primary Scripture
Psalm 91:4
"He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart."

"For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."
2 Thessalonians 3:3
"But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one."
Read these verses again — slowly. Let them sink past your ears and into your spirit.
Short Teaching
Psalm 91 is the ultimate declaration of divine protection. It paints a picture of a God who does not stand at a distance watching His children fend for themselves. He covers them with His feathers. He shelters them under His wings. He commands His angels to guard them. His faithfulness becomes their shield and the wall around them that no enemy can breach.
The image of a bird covering its young with its feathers is tender and fierce at the same time. A mother bird does not casually shield her chicks — she spreads her wings wide and makes her own body the barrier between danger and her offspring. That is what God does for you. When danger comes, He does not send protection from a distance — He makes Himself your shield. The Creator of the universe places His own presence between you and whatever threatens you.
When you take Communion as an act of receiving God's protection, you are not doing a superstitious ritual. You are physically receiving — by faith — the protection that Christ's body and blood purchased. The bread represents His body — the body that was exposed to suffering so that you could be covered. The cup represents His blood — the blood that marks the doorposts of your life and declares to every destroying force: this one is under covenant, this one is off limits, this one belongs to the Most High.
The blood of Jesus is your ultimate covering. Just as the blood of the Passover lamb protected the Israelites from the destroyer, the blood of Jesus — the true Passover Lamb — protects you from every attack of the enemy. When you plead the blood over your life, your family, your home, your finances, and your mind, you are not speaking empty words. You are applying the finished work of the cross over every area that needs protection. The enemy must respect the blood. Every demon must bow to the blood. Every curse must break in the presence of the blood.
Part One
The Bread
His Body — Broken So You Are Covered
Prayer Over the Bread
Lord Jesus,
I hold this bread, and I remember Your body — the body that was exposed to nails, thorns, and a spear so that I could be covered by the shadow of the Almighty. You took the full force of the enemy's attack so that I would never have to face it unprotected. You became the shield between me and destruction.
By Your wounds, I receive divine protection over my life right now. I receive the covering that only You can provide — covering over my physical body, covering over my home, covering over my family, covering over my finances, covering over my mind and my emotions. I declare that I dwell in the secret place of the Most High, and therefore I abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I receive the ministry of angels over my life — that they would guard me in all my ways, that they would lift me up so that I would not strike my foot against a stone, that they would encamp around me and deliver me from every hidden danger. The body of Jesus was broken so that every barrier between me and heaven's protection would be removed.
Amen.
Receive the Bread
Take the bread now. Eat it slowly. As you do, receive the covering that Christ's broken body purchased for you — the full protection of the Almighty God over every area of your life.

Part Two
The Cup
His Blood — The Covering No Enemy Can Cross
Prayer Over the Cup
Lord Jesus,
I hold this cup, and I remember Your blood — the blood of the New Covenant, the blood that marks the doorposts of my life and declares that I belong to the Most High God. Your blood is the ultimate covering. No curse, no danger, no weapon, and no enemy can cross the blood line You have drawn around me.
I plead Your blood over my life right now. I plead Your blood over my body — from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. I plead Your blood over my mind — against every attack of fear, anxiety, and torment. I plead Your blood over my home — that every corner, every room, every doorway would be covered and protected. I plead Your blood over my family — my spouse, my children, my grandchildren, my parents, everyone connected to me.
I plead Your blood over my going out and my coming in. I plead Your blood over my workplace. I plead Your blood over my finances — that the devourer would be rebuked. I plead Your blood over my sleep — that I would rest in peace without fear. I plead Your blood over every assignment of the enemy against my life — that it would be dismantled, disarmed, and destroyed.
By the blood of Jesus, I am covered. By the blood of Jesus, I am protected. By the blood of Jesus, no weapon formed against me shall prosper.
Thank You, Jesus, for the New Covenant in Your blood. Amen.
Receive the Cup
Drink now. As you do, receive the fullness of the New Covenant — the blood covering that the enemy cannot cross. Every area of your life is now marked by the blood of the Lamb.

Closing Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for this time at Your Table. Thank You for the body and blood of Jesus — for the protection, covering, and safety they represent. I believe that Psalm 91:4 is true for me today: You cover me with Your feathers, and under Your wings I find refuge.
I leave this Table wrapped in supernatural protection. I leave knowing that I am not exposed — I am covered. I leave knowing that angels have been assigned to guard me in all my ways. I leave knowing that the blood of Jesus is a fence around my life that no enemy can scale, no weapon can pierce, and no curse can cross.
Walk with me now, Holy Spirit. When fear tries to creep back in, remind me of the covering I received at this Table. When I see danger approaching, remind me that You are my shield and rampart. When the enemy whispers that I am vulnerable, let my spirit rise up and declare: I dwell in the secret place of the Most High, and no evil shall befall me.
I seal this Communion in the precious blood of Jesus. Every word of protection spoken over my life at this Table is sealed in the courts of heaven. I am covered. I am guarded. I am kept by the power of God through faith.
In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
