Prayer for Fertility

"He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children." — Psalm 113:9

The ache of wanting a child and waiting — month after month, negative test after negative test — is a grief that many carry in silence. But God is the Author of life. He opened Sarah's womb, Hannah's womb, Elizabeth's womb. He is the same God today. This prayer is for everyone in the waiting, everyone in the treatment cycles, everyone holding onto hope that God will do what only He can do.

A Prayer for Fertility

Father God, in the name of Jesus, I come before You with the desire of my heart — the desire for a child. You know how long I have waited. You have collected every tear. You have heard every prayer whispered in the bathroom after another negative test. Today I plead the precious blood of Jesus over my body, over my reproductive system, and over the child I am believing You for.

Lord, You are the One who opens wombs. You are the One who gives life. I ask You to do what medicine cannot do. Let my body function as You designed it to function. Let there be conception. Let life take root and grow.

While I wait, sustain my hope. Protect my heart from bitterness when I see others receive what I'm still waiting for. Protect my marriage from the strain of this journey. Let this season draw us closer to You and closer to each other, not further apart.

I release the timeline to You. I release the method to You. Whether through natural conception, through treatment, or through another path — You are the Giver of every good gift. I trust You with the how and the when.

I love You. I honor You. I give You all the glory. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

I confess that God is the Giver of life. I confess that my body is being restored to full function. I confess that I will hold my child in my arms. I confess that God's timing is perfect.

I declare that my womb is blessed. I declare that life is growing. I declare that I will see the fulfillment of God's promise. I declare that I am not forgotten.
