Prayer for Israel

"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: 'May those who love you be secure.'" — Psalm 122:6

God made a covenant with Abraham and He has been faithful across centuries. Israel is precious to Him. The situation in the Middle East is complex beyond what any human wisdom can solve — competing narratives, real pain on all sides, peace that feels impossible. But God has a plan for Israel. His promises are reliable even when circumstances seem impossible. When we pray for Israel, we align our hearts with God's heart for His chosen people. This prayer is for anyone who wants to stand with Israel faithfully — asking for protection, wisdom, and the peace that only God can bring.

A Prayer for Israel

Father God, in the name of Jesus, I come to You for Israel. I thank You for the covenant You made with Abraham. I thank You for Your faithfulness to Your promises across centuries. I thank You that Israel is precious to You.

I acknowledge the complexity of the situation in the Middle East. I acknowledge the competing narratives. I acknowledge the real pain on all sides. I acknowledge that I am asking You to work in a situation that seems impossible to human wisdom.

I plead the precious blood of Jesus over Israel. Over the Jewish people. Over the land. Over the peace that feels impossible.

I pray for the safety of the Israeli people. Protect them from those who want to harm them. Give wisdom to Israeli leaders. I also pray for the Palestinian people — for their dignity and rights, for leaders who pursue justice rather than violence. I pray for a solution that honors both peoples.

I commit to praying for Israel. I commit to trusting that You are working in this situation even when we cannot see how it will be resolved. Thank You that You have a plan for Israel. Thank You that Your promises are reliable. I love You. I honor You. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
