You've been hurt before. People you thought were safe turned out to be harmful. Now you're cautious — and that's wise — but you don't want to live in fear either. This prayer asks God to give you supernatural discernment about who to trust.

A Prayer for Wisdom to Know Who to Trust

Father God, I come to You in the name of Jesus, and I'm asking for WISDOM to know who to trust.

I've been hurt before. People I thought were safe turned out to be harmful. People I trusted betrayed me. And now I'm cautious about who I let into my life.

That's wise, but I don't want to live in fear either. So I'm asking You: Show me who is TRUSTWORTHY. Show me who has a TRUE heart. Show me who I can rely on.

Proverbs 14:15 says: The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.

Make me PRUDENT! Make me DISCERNING! Show me the red flags BEFORE I invest in someone!

I declare that I HAVE discernment about people! I declare that I SEE who is trustworthy! I declare that the Holy Spirit guides me in my relationships!

Give me the courage to trust the RIGHT people and the wisdom to avoid the WRONG ones.

Thank You for protection in my relationships. Thank You for wisdom about who to trust. Thank You for guiding me toward people who will love me well.

In the wisdom-giving and protective name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
