People often ask me what I believe.
Everything you read on this website, every book I write, every message I preach, and every ministry God has entrusted to me flows from these biblical convictions.
These are not simply doctrines I agree with.
They are truths I have come to know through walking with Jesus.
I Believe in Jesus Christ
- • Jesus is the Son of God.
- • He was born of a virgin.
- • He lived a sinless life.
- • He died on the Cross of Calvary.
- • He shed His blood for our salvation.
- • He rose bodily from the dead.
- • He ascended to the Father.
- • He is coming again.
- • Jesus is Savior, Lord, Redeemer, Shepherd, Friend, and King.
I Believe in the Finished Work of the Cross
- • The Cross forever settled my salvation.
- • The blood of Jesus still speaks.
- • Forgiveness, redemption, reconciliation, and eternal life are found only through Jesus Christ.
- • The empty tomb declares death has been defeated forever.
I Believe in Grace
- • Salvation is by grace through faith.
- • Righteousness is a gift.
- • God's mercy is new every morning.
- • His grace is greater than my failures.
- • His favor rests upon His children.
I Believe in the New Covenant
- • Jesus established a better covenant.
- • I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
- • As Jesus is, so am I in this world.
- • My standing before God is based on Jesus' finished work.
I Believe in the Holy Spirit
- • The Holy Spirit lives within every believer.
- • He teaches, comforts, guides, convicts, empowers, and transforms us into the likeness of Jesus Christ.
- • I believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are active today and are given to build up the Church and glorify Jesus.
- • I believe God still heals.
- • I believe God still delivers.
- • I believe God still restores.
- • I believe God still performs miracles — according to His wisdom, His love, and His perfect timing.
- • The power of God has not diminished. The Holy Spirit continues to work in and through His people today.
I Believe the Bible
- • The Bible is God's inspired and living Word.
- • It is trustworthy.
- • It is the final authority for faith and life.
I Believe in Prayer
- • God hears prayer.
- • God answers prayer according to His wisdom.
- • Jesus still heals.
- • Jesus still restores.
- • Jesus still performs miracles.
I Believe Words Matter
- • Death and life are in the power of the tongue.
- • God's promises should be believed, spoken, and lived.
I Believe in Purpose
- • Every person is created in God's image.
- • Every life has dignity.
- • Every believer has purpose.
- • Assignments may change.
- • God's purpose never does.
I Believe in the Church
- • We are called to love one another.
- • Encourage one another.
- • Serve one another.
- • Walk together.
- • No one should have to face life's hardest seasons alone.
Above All
Jesus Christ Is the Greatest Gift
Above everything else, I believe Jesus Christ is the greatest gift God has ever given us.
I do not follow Him merely because of what He can do for me.
I follow Him because of who He is.
He is worthy of my trust, my worship, my obedience, and my love.
If every circumstance in my life remained exactly as it is today, I would still choose Jesus.
He has been more faithful than I ever imagined, more gracious than I ever deserved, and more present than I ever realized.
