Health & Hope

A Voice of Hope

A Heart for Healing

If you're navigating chronic illness, managing health challenges, or searching for hope in difficult seasons, you are not alone. This is a space of compassion, faith, and real encouragement — where your story matters and your healing journey is honored.

Her Story

From Patient to Purpose

Nicole Washington knows the weight of dialysis firsthand. The early mornings, the needle sticks, the fatigue that settles deep in your bones — she has sat in that chair and felt every emotion that comes with it.

But she also knows something else: that God can meet you in the dialysis center just as surely as He meets you in church. That your life still holds beauty, purpose, and meaning. That resilience isn't the absence of struggle — it's choosing to rise through it.

Through Nicole Washington Ministries, Nicole has turned her personal experience into a mission to encourage, uplift, and equip every person navigating kidney disease and dialysis.

A Word From Nicole

"When I was sitting in that dialysis chair, I searched for someone who truly understood — not just the medical side, but the spiritual weight of it all. I didn't always find what I needed, so I made a promise to God that if He brought me through, I would be that presence for someone else."

"You are seen. You are loved. And you are still here for a reason. Let me walk beside you."

The Road of Faith

27 Hospital Visits in 3 Years

This is one of the moments that tested my faith — and strengthened it. Twenty-seven times in three years, I found myself in a hospital bed, navigating health challenges that would have broken anyone without hope.

But each visit taught me something: that God shows up in hospital rooms just as powerfully as He shows up anywhere else. That your body may be in a bed, but your spirit can soar. That there is no place too dark, no diagnosis too heavy, no treatment too exhausting for His grace to meet you there.

I didn't just survive those 27 visits. I learned that survival isn't the goal — thriving is. And thriving doesn't wait for perfection or health. It happens right now, right here, in this moment, with whatever you're facing.

"My dialysis journey didn't break me — it transformed me. Every needle stick, every treatment, every moment of doubt became an opportunity to choose faith over fear. Today, I'm not just surviving dialysis; I'm thriving beyond it."
