Prayer for College Decisions

Father God, in the name of Jesus, I come to You about my college decision. I thank You for making a way for me to attend college. I thank You for opening doors. I thank You for the opportunity to grow my mind and expand my horizons.

I acknowledge the pressure of this decision. I acknowledge that this choice feels momentous. I acknowledge the many options and the difficulty of knowing which one is right. I acknowledge that different people are pulling me in different directions.

I plead the precious blood of Jesus over this decision. Over the schools I am considering. Over my future. Over the clarity I need.

Help me evaluate my options wisely. Help me not choose based on what others think I should do. Help me not chase prestige or status. Help me consider my actual goals and the environment where I will thrive. Give me discernment about whether this is the right time. Give me wisdom about what to study. Give me clarity about affordability.

I commit to making this decision prayerfully. I commit to trusting it once I have made it. I commit to going into whatever college I choose with full commitment. Thank You that I am making the right decision for my life. I love You. I honor You. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
