Prayer in a Disaster
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you." — Isaiah 43:2
Disasters leave destruction, loss, and uncertainty in their wake. This prayer is for those surviving and rebuilding — asking for safety, provision, hope, and the resilience to rebuild what has been destroyed.
A Prayer in a Disaster
Father God, in the name of Jesus, I thank You that even in disaster, I am held by You. I thank You that disaster does not define my future. I thank You that You are with me through it all. Today I plead the precious blood of Jesus over this disaster, over my life, over restoration, over my family, and over God's complete healing and rebuilding.
I thank You that what has been destroyed can be rebuilt. I thank You for safety in the midst of danger. I thank You for provision in the midst of loss. I thank You for hope even when everything looks hopeless. I thank You for resilience that comes from faith.
I thank You that I am surviving this disaster. I thank You that I am being restored. I thank You that I am going to rebuild. I thank You that God is with me.
I love You. I honor You. I give You all the glory. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

- • I confess that restoration is possible.
- • I confess that I will rebuild.
Declaration
I declare that I am safe even in disaster.
I declare that I will recover.
I declare that I am being restored.
I declare that I will rebuild and thrive.

- • Nahum 1:7 — "The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him."
