You survived things that should have destroyed you.

The miracle is not that I never fell. The miracle is that I kept getting back up.

Sometimes victory looks like getting up one more time.

The goal was never perfection. The goal was survival.

I may be tired, but I am not defeated.

I may be wounded, but I am not finished.

I am still here. And that means God is not finished.

What did not kill me taught me.

Every scar has a story. Every story has a purpose.

Life changed me, but it did not define me.

Still here. Still standing. Still believing.

I lost many things. I did not lose my purpose.

I bent. I did not break.

I cried. I did not quit.

I struggled. I did not surrender.

I was shaken. I was not destroyed.

Survival is not weakness. Survival is strength.

The enemy counted me out. God counted me in.

You have survived one hundred percent of your hardest days.

Some of my greatest victories happened where nobody was watching.

I never would have chosen this journey, but I have seen God on every mile of the road.

I am living proof that grace can carry a person farther than strength ever could.

My testimony did not begin with dialysis. It began with survival.

The wound did not win.

I did not survive this far to stop here.

Surviving is not the end of the story. It is the beginning of the testimony.

Every time I should have been finished, God said not yet.

I am not what tried to break me. I am what God built from the pieces.

Hard seasons do not disqualify you. They develop you.

You do not have to understand everything God is doing to trust that He is doing something.

Some mornings the bravest prayer I prayed was simply, 'Lord, again.' And again, He answered.

God has never been surprised by anything that surprised me.

Faith is not pretending the storm isn't real. Faith is believing God is greater than the storm.

Sometimes faith is simply showing up one more day.

God's faithfulness is not determined by my circumstances.

When I cannot trace His hand, I choose to trust His heart.

God does not waste pain.

God does not waste tears.

God does not waste seasons.

God does not waste waiting.

God does not waste anything surrendered to Him.

God has been faithful in every season of my life.

The story is not that I never suffered. The story is that God never left.

Faith does not always feel like faith. Sometimes it feels like getting dressed when you don't want to get out of bed.

God is not moved by what moves me. He is moved by faith.

When the facts change nothing, the truth remains.

I have learned to praise God in the waiting, not just in the receiving.

God is not confused about your situation. He wrote the ending before you lived the beginning.

I may not know what tomorrow holds, but I know Who holds tomorrow.

Some of God's greatest gifts arrive wrapped in the hardest seasons.

Trust is not a feeling. Trust is a decision made in the absence of certainty.

God is not late. He is never early. He is always on time.

The same God who parted the sea is the same God in this season.

Faith that cannot be tested cannot be trusted.

God did not bring me this far to leave me here.

Nothing in my life has ever been too hard for God.

I have prayed prayers I thought went unanswered. I now see they were answered differently than I asked.

Obedience is not always comfortable. But it is always worth it.

I would rather walk by faith in the dark than by sight in the wrong direction.

God's silence is not God's absence.

I have watched God turn mourning into morning too many times to doubt Him now.

God has never once been late to my life. I was just early with my worry.

Facts change. Truth remains.

The fact may be temporary. The truth is eternal.

Facts tell me where I am. Truth tells me who I am.

Fact: I sit in a dialysis chair. Truth: I am seated with Christ.

Never allow facts to have the final word when God has already spoken truth.

The fact may be what you see. The truth is what God said.

A diagnosis is a fact. It is not a destiny.

The fact says this is over. The truth says God is just beginning.

Facts are real. But facts are not final.

Do not let what you see cancel out what God said.

What looks like an ending in the natural is often a transition in the Spirit.

The fact says I should not be here. The truth says God kept me here on purpose.

You cannot build your life on facts that change. Build it on a truth that does not.

My circumstances speak. God's Word speaks louder.

I am not what happened to me.

My history explains me. It does not define me.

My worth was settled at the cross.

God loved me before I accomplished anything.

I am not fighting for acceptance. I am living from acceptance.

What God says about me matters more than what life says about me.

I refuse to let pain become my identity.

I am not my diagnosis.

I am not my past.

I am not my worst season.

I am not what they said about me.

I am not what was done to me.

I am who God says I am. And God has been very clear.

You cannot define yourself by what tried to destroy you.

The wound that tried to stop you did not start with you — and you have the authority to be the generation where it ends.

Your name in God's mouth is not the same name your pain gave you.

Identity is not built from the outside in. It is built from the inside out.

I grew up feeling unseen. God saw me the whole time.

You are not a survivor of your story. You are the author of the next chapter.

The rejection that shaped you did not start with you. God was keeping you before you understood why.

I do not need applause to know my worth. God settled that question before I was born.

Do not let what someone else refused to see convince you that you are invisible.

God saw me on a plantation back porch. He sees me in a dialysis chair. He has never looked away.

You are not what life made of you. You are what God intended when He made you.

Nothing happens by chance.

There are no wasted chapters in God's story.

Purpose survives storms.

What feels like an ending is often preparation.

God can build a future from pieces you thought were ruined.

Your setback may be someone else's survival guide.

Purpose does not expire.

If you are still here, God is not finished with your story.

If you are still breathing, your story is still being written.

The interruptions in your life were not interruptions to God. They were the plan.

What looks like a detour is often the actual road.

Some prayers are spoken over your future before you understand what your future is.

The assignment does not end with the diagnosis.

You were not kept alive by accident.

Every limitation contains an assignment.

The people who are watching your survival are already being encouraged by it.

God did not preserve me all these years for me to stop building now.

What I went through was not punishment. It was preparation.

Nothing in your story is beyond God's ability to redeem.

God wastes nothing — not the pain, not the years, not the tears, not the broken pieces.

Your life is not a mistake. It is a mission.

Adversity may interrupt a journey. It does not have to define it.

The wound that tried to end you may be the very thing that eventually helps someone else begin.

God is not building a monument to your pain. He is building a testimony from it.

Some things only make sense at the end. Keep going until you get there.

Delayed is not denied.

Just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean God isn't working.

Waiting is not punishment.

Some miracles happen suddenly. Others happen slowly. Both are miracles.

The waiting room is often where God does His deepest work.

What looks like delay is often preparation.

God is working in the waiting even when you cannot see the work.

Do not despise the season of preparation. The longer the preparation, the greater the purpose.

I have learned more about God in the waiting than I ever learned in the receiving.

Do not quit five minutes before breakthrough.

The seed does not become a tree overnight. Neither does a calling.

Some blessings take longer because they are bigger than you currently have room for.

Waiting with faith is not passive. It is one of the most active things a person can do.

In every season that felt like nothing was happening, something was happening.

The waiting did not break me. It built the version of me that could carry what was coming.

Healing is not always instant, but God is always present.

My diagnosis does not have the final word.

I refuse to let my condition become my conclusion.

I am more than a medical chart.

The doctor's report matters. God's report matters more.

Healing does not always look the way we pictured it. But God's healing is always real.

I have watched God heal things that medicine said were permanent.

Sometimes healing is sudden. Sometimes it is a process. I will trust God through both.

My body is not my enemy. It is my vessel. I will honor it and trust God with it.

Pain is not the end of the story. It is part of the testimony.

I choose to believe in a healing God even on the days healing feels far away.

Healing begins where honesty lives. You cannot heal what you refuse to acknowledge.

God can heal what no doctor can explain.

Some healings happen in the body. Others happen in the soul. Both are real.

My condition does not determine my confession.

Some days I do not feel healed. I feel held. And held is enough to keep going.

Loving people is holy work.

Caregivers carry burdens nobody sees.

Strength often looks like showing up when nobody notices.

Sometimes ministry wears scrubs.

Sometimes ministry sits beside a hospital bed.

Sometimes ministry drives to another doctor's appointment.

The most faithful people in any room are often the ones nobody is clapping for.

Caregiving is not just a task. It is a calling.

You cannot pour from an empty vessel. Caring for yourself is not selfishness. It is stewardship.

The invisible work of caregiving is seen by God even when it is unseen by people.

To sit with someone in their hardest moment is one of the most sacred things a person can do.

Every meal prepared. Every appointment kept. Every hand held. It all counts.

Caregivers are the hands and feet of God in the places medicine cannot reach.

The caregiver's sacrifice is one of the least recognized and most needed gifts in the world.

To love someone through their worst is to love them the way God loves us.

I have learned that love is not always a feeling. Sometimes love is a schedule, a medication, a quiet presence.

I learned to love in a language that did not always answer back. That is its own kind of faith.

Grief is love with nowhere to go.

Healing does not require forgetting.

Missing someone is not weakness.

Tears are not evidence of a lack of faith.

God is not offended by honest sorrow.

You do not have to be strong all the time. Even Jesus wept.

Grief is not a detour from faith. It is a path through it.

Allow yourself to grieve what you lost without losing sight of what remains.

Some losses change you. That is not failure. That is human.

You can carry joy and grief at the same time. Both can be true.

God meets mourners. He does not avoid them.

There is no grief too heavy for God to carry with you.

I have learned that some things you do not get over. You get through them. And God gets through them with you.

The presence of grief is evidence of the depth of love. It is not something to rush past.

Healing is not the absence of grief. Healing is the presence of God inside the grief.

Not everyone assigned to your past belongs in your future.

Forgiveness sets the prisoner free — and often the prisoner was me.

Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is walk away in peace.

Love does not always mean access.

Healthy boundaries are not rejection.

You can love someone deeply and still protect your peace.

Relationships cannot be reduced to their hardest chapter.

Love that does not require presence to remain love is still love.

Some people were sent for a season. Honoring that season is not failure.

Forgiveness is not reconciliation. Forgiveness is freedom.

You cannot control how people treat you. You can control what you do with the wound.

The people God sends are rarely the ones you expected.

Sometimes the people who love us best are not the people we planned on.

The years of love were real. They cannot be erased by a hard season.

A mother's love does not require her children's presence to remain real.

Sometimes God sends provision in the form of a person.

The people who stay when staying is difficult are the ones worth celebrating.

Not every broken relationship is your fault. Some people leave because they were not built for where you are going.

God can heal what happened between people. Trust the process even when you cannot see the progress.

Church hurt is real, but so is healing.

People may fail you. Jesus never will.

Don't let a bad church experience rob you of a good God.

God is bigger than the wounds people caused in His name.

The church is not the building or the people in it. The church is the body of Christ. Bodies heal.

Someone hurt you in church. That is real. It is also not the final chapter.

God did not approve of what was done to you in His name. He grieves it with you.

Spiritual abuse is real. Recovery is possible. God is with you in both.

You do not have to return to the place that hurt you. But do not let it take your faith when you leave.

Religion wounded many people that Jesus came to heal.

Keep showing up.

Keep believing.

Keep standing.

Keep going.

If you are still here, that is enough. Keep going.

The fact that you are still reading this means you have not given up. That matters.

You have made it through every hard day you thought would break you. This one is no different.

Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is doing the thing afraid.

One more day. One more step. One more breath. That is enough.

Endurance is not glamorous. But it is powerful.

Nobody prepares you for how long the hard seasons last. But God prepares you for every day of them.

Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.

The people watching your perseverance are being strengthened by it.

Your story is not over. The fact that you are still here is evidence.

Rest if you must. But do not quit.

You were built for more than this moment. Keep going.

Nobody who finishes well quits in the middle.

You are not behind. You are becoming. And God is in no hurry to be done with you.

Grace is not permission to stay where you are. Grace is power to become who God created you to be.

God's grace is greater than my worst day.

Grace found me when I was not looking for it.

I did not earn this grace. That is what makes it grace.

Grace does not excuse the past. It redeems it.

The same grace that saved me is the same grace that sustains me.

Every morning I wake up is evidence of grace.

Grace is not a reward for good behavior. It is a gift for the empty-handed.

I have received more grace than I deserved and less judgment than I feared.

God's grace showed up in places I was ashamed to admit I needed it.

I am not where I should be. I am not where I used to be. Grace is the difference.

Grace does not lower the standard. Grace empowers you to reach it.

Grace did not wait for me to get it all together. Grace met me in the middle of the mess.

The chair is part of the story. It is not the whole story.

I build from the chair, not in spite of it.

Three times a week my blood leaves my body to be cleaned and returns. That is not weakness. That is perseverance in action.

I did not choose this chair. But I choose what I do from it.

What looked like a limitation became a platform.

The dialysis center became a congregation I never expected.

Nobody in the waiting room chose to be there. But God is in every waiting room.

I am a patient. I am also a pastor. The chair does not change either of those things.

Chronic illness teaches you what matters. Very quickly.

I have more to say from this chair than I ever said from a pulpit.

The machine keeps me alive. God keeps me going.

Some days the only victory is making it to the chair. That still counts.

Nobody tells you what dialysis does to your body. Or your soul. God goes with you into both.

My condition does not determine my calling.

What the enemy sent to stop me, God turned into a sermon.

I did not become less of a minister because I became a patient. I became a different kind of minister.

The people in those chairs beside me taught me things seminary never could.

My family's story does not begin with me.

At least six generations of my family have lived, survived, and built on this soil.

From a plantation back porch to a publishing house. That is not coincidence. That is God.

My grandfather ran toward the wounded. I build from the chair. Different chairs. Same assignment.

The wound did not start with me. And it does not end with me either.

I come from people who survived what was designed to destroy them.

The strength in my bloodline was forged in fire.

What they survived gave me permission to survive.

I carry the prayers of women who prayed over a future they would never see.

My grandmother gave me Psalm 23 as a child. She gave me more than a scripture. She gave me a lifeline.

The women who prayed over me in that room in Chicago did not know who I would become. God did.

I am the answer to prayers that were prayed before I was born.

Legacy is not what you leave behind. It is what you build while you are still here.

I did not choose my history. I did choose what I do with it.

The little girl who felt unseen became the woman who builds platforms so others can be seen.

Nothing happens by chance. Not even where you were born. Not even who raised you. Not even the hardest chapter of your life.

I watched someone die with new pajamas still in the drawer. I stopped saving things for later.

What you practice in private becomes who you are in public.

Character is what you do when no one is watching and you think it does not matter.

Every person God placed in my path taught me something. Even the ones who hurt me.

Wisdom is not knowing all the answers. Wisdom is knowing which questions to ask.

Simple moments can become the richest memories. Pay attention to them while they are happening.

A burnt pancake made by my daughter was the best pancake I ever ate. Love changes everything.

The most powerful thing you can do for a child is make them feel seen.

Birthday celebrations are not about the gift. They are about the person.

A birthday is the anniversary of God's decision to bring you into the world. It deserves celebration.

The lesson I remember most from childhood was five words from a nun: Nothing happens by chance.

I am loved by God.

I am accepted by God.

I am chosen by God.

I am seen by God.

I am known by God.

I am kept by God.

I am held by God.

I am not forgotten.

I am not finished.

I am not alone.

I am not defined by my diagnosis.

I am not defined by my past.

I am not defined by what was done to me.

I am not defined by who left me.

I am defined by Who made me.

I do not need human approval to validate my God-given worth.

My identity comes from Christ, not public opinion.

I am free from the prison of approval.

I am who God says I am.

I refuse to live in fear of rejection.

I will not measure my value by likes, applause, or opinions.

I will obey God's voice above the voice of the crowd.

I am secure in Christ.

Fifty free teachings because nobody should have to pay to find hope in a hard season.

I built a congregation in a dialysis center. God specializes in unexpected venues.

Ministry is not always a pulpit. Sometimes it is a chair.

The most powerful ministry happens in the ordinary moments.

You do not need a title to serve. You need a willing heart.

Every person sitting in a chair connected to a machine deserves to know their story is not over.

The church I never planned was the congregation I most needed.

Six people in a science classroom. One of them is still here. That is who this ministry was always built for.

I did not found a ministry because I had it all together. I founded one because I knew what falling apart felt like.

The best ministers are usually the ones who needed the most ministering.

Ministry that does not come from a real life is just performance.
