Prayer for Easter
"He is not here; he has risen, just as he said." — Matthew 28:6
Easter celebrates the most important event in history — the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Death did not have the final word. This prayer helps you live in resurrection power every day.
An Easter Prayer
Father God, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for Easter. I thank You for the resurrection. I thank You that death did not have the final word. Today I plead the precious blood of Jesus over Easter, over my faith, over the resurrection power working in me, over my future, and over God's complete victory and life.
I thank You that Easter celebrates the most important event in history. I thank You that Jesus rose from the dead. I thank You that sin and death were defeated. I thank You for the power of resurrection that is available to me. I thank You for eternal life that is mine through Christ.
I thank You that I am living in resurrection power. I thank You that I am experiencing new life in Jesus. I thank You that death has no power over me. I thank You that I will live forever with You.
I love You. I honor You. I give You all the glory. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

- • I confess that I have eternal life.
Declaration
I declare that Jesus is risen.
I declare that I am living in resurrection power.
I declare that death has no power over me.
