An Evening Prayer

"In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." — Psalm 4:8

As the day comes to a close, there is a sacred practice of releasing everything back to God. This evening prayer helps you lay down your burdens, rest in His protection, and trust Him through the night.

An Evening Prayer

Father God, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for this day. I thank You for the moments that filled it. I thank You for provision, protection, and presence throughout. Today I plead the precious blood of Jesus over the night, over my rest, over my sleep, and over my complete peace.

I thank You that You never sleep and never slumber in watching over me. I thank You for allowing me to lay down this day knowing You are in control. I thank You for rest that restores me. I thank You for freedom from worry as I sleep. I thank You for protection through the night.

I thank You that I am at peace as this day ends. I thank You that I can rest knowing God is watching. I thank You that tomorrow will bring new mercies. I thank You that I am safe through the night.

I love You. I honor You. I give You all the glory. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
