Prayer for Faith

Faithful Father, You are the God who cannot lie, whose promises are sure, and whose Word never returns void. I come before You today with my heart wide open, asking You to strengthen my faith. I believe — help my unbelief. Where doubt has crept in, drive it out. Where fear has taken root, uproot it. Where my vision has been limited to what my eyes can see, give me the eyes of faith to see what You are doing in the unseen realm.

Lord, I confess the moments when my faith has wavered. I have looked at the storm instead of the Savior. I have measured my problems against my own strength instead of against Your power. Forgive me for the times I have let the reports of man drown out the report of the Lord. Forgive me for trusting in my own understanding instead of leaning on You with my whole heart. Renew a steadfast faith within me, Father.

I ask You to stretch my faith beyond its current borders. Help me to trust You not only for the small things but for the impossible things — the things that can only be explained by Your hand moving. Let my faith be built on the solid rock of who You are, not on the shifting sand of my circumstances. When the answer delays, let my faith hold steady. When the outcome looks unlikely, let my faith declare, "Yet I will trust Him."

Father, I speak to the mountains in my life right now — every obstacle, every impossibility, every situation that defies natural solutions. I say to those mountains, be removed and cast into the sea. I believe that with You, all things are possible. Nothing is too hard for You. No promise will fail. No word from Your mouth will return empty. I take hold of this truth not as wishful thinking but as unshakable confidence in a God who always keeps His word.

I thank You for the faith You have already given me — it is a gift, not something I earned. But I ask You to increase it. Let me walk in the kind of faith that pleases You, the kind that steps out of the boat, the kind that believes before seeing, the kind that stands firm when everything around is shaking. I will not shrink back; I will press forward, knowing that You who promised are faithful.

Thank You, Father, that I do not walk by sight but by faith. Thank You that the righteous live by faith, and that same righteousness has been given to me in Christ. I receive a fresh impartation of faith today — faith for my family, faith for my future, faith for my finances, faith for every area of my life. In the all-powerful name of Jesus, Amen.
