Prayer for Father's Day

"Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." — Proverbs 22:6

Fatherhood is a calling worthy of honor. Fathers protect, provide, lead, and model what it means to follow God. This prayer covers every father — asking for strength, wisdom, and blessing over their families.

A Father's Day Prayer

Father God, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for fathers. I thank You for the protection and the provision that fathers give. I thank You for the leadership and the example that fathers model. Today I plead the precious blood of Jesus over fathers, over their strength, over their families, over their wisdom, and over God's complete blessing and guidance.

I thank You that fatherhood is a calling worthy of honor. I thank You for the grace that fathers receive to lead and to love. I thank You for the strength to provide and to protect. I thank You for the wisdom to guide. I thank You for the legacy that fathers create.

I thank You that fathers are valued and appreciated. I thank You that their work is seen by God. I thank You that they are blessed and sustained. I thank You that the influence of fathers echoes through generations.

I love You. I honor You. I give You all the glory. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
