Prayer for My Husband
"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her." — Ephesians 5:25
There is power in a wife who prays for her husband. Not as a way to control him or change him to fit her expectations — but as a genuine act of intercession for the man God gave her. This prayer pleads the blood of Jesus over your husband's mind, heart, leadership, and walk with God. Speak it aloud. Speak life over him.
A Prayer for My Husband
Father God, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the man You have given me as my husband. I thank You for his strength, his character, and his commitment to me. Today I plead the precious blood of Jesus over my husband — over his mind, over his heart, over his leadership, and over his walk with You.
I thank You that he is a man of God and that You are working in him. I thank You for wisdom in supporting him while maintaining my own identity. I thank You for the ability to respect him and to speak life to him.
I thank You for his provision, his protection, and his presence. I thank You that he is growing spiritually. I thank You that our marriage is strong because he is strong in his faith. I thank You that I can trust him and that he is trustworthy. I thank You for the partnership we share.
I love You. I honor You. I give You all the glory. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
