Prayer for Love
"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." — 1 Corinthians 13:13
Love is at the center of everything God calls us to. He commands us to love Him with all our heart, soul, and mind — and to love our neighbor as ourselves. Whether you are seeking love in a relationship, wanting to grow in love for others, or needing to receive God's love more deeply, this prayer is for you. Love is not just a feeling — it is a choice, a commitment, and a gift from God.
A Prayer for Love
Lord, I come asking for love. For love in my heart. For love in my relationships. For love in my life.
God, You are love. You are the source of all love. I ask for the blessing of love.
I pray for romantic love. For the right person at the right time. For a relationship that honors You.
I pray for love in my family. For bonds that strengthen. For wounds that heal. For connection that deepens.
I pray for love in my friendships. For people who truly care. For relationships that are mutual and life-giving.
I pray to love more fully. Help me to love others as You love me. Help me to be patient, kind, and generous in love.
I declare that love is present in my life. That I am loved by God and by others. That I am growing in my ability to love. That love is shaping my life for good.
In Jesus' name, with gratitude for the gift of love — Amen.
