Prayer for Moving Forward

"Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on." — Philippians 3:13-14

You do not have to stay where you were. The past does not own your future. This prayer helps you release what is behind and step with courage toward the new life God has for you.

A Prayer for Moving Forward

Father God, in the name of Jesus, I thank You that I can leave the past behind. I thank You that I do not have to stay where I was. I thank You that forward movement is possible. Today I plead the precious blood of Jesus over the past, over my healing, over my forward motion, over my new life, and over God's complete transformation and direction.

I thank You that You make all things new. I thank You for the ability to release what is behind me. I thank You for the courage to step toward what is ahead. I thank You for hope that pulls me forward. I thank You for freedom from regret.

I thank You that I am moving forward. I thank You that I am leaving the past behind. I thank You that I am stepping into new life. I thank You that God is with me.

I love You. I honor You. I give You all the glory. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
