Prayer for Starting Over

Starting over takes courage. Whether by choice or by circumstance, new beginnings are possible. This prayer declares that your past does not define you — God's new mercies do.
A Prayer for Starting Over
Father God, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the ability to start over. I thank You that my past does not determine my future. I thank You that new beginnings are always possible. Today I plead the precious blood of Jesus over this new beginning, over my fresh start, over my hope, over my strength, and over God's complete renewal and blessing.
I thank You that I am not defined by my failures. I thank You for the courage to begin again. I thank You for wisdom to make different choices. I thank You for grace that covers my past mistakes. I thank You for a future that is bright and full of possibility.
I thank You that I am starting over. I thank You that I am building something new. I thank You that I am becoming who God has called me to be. I thank You that this new beginning is blessed.
I love You. I honor You. I give You all the glory. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
