Prayer for Surgery

Father, I come before You on behalf of every person preparing for surgery.

Lord, I thank You that You are already in the operating room. You go before us and You stand behind us. I ask You to fill that operating room with Your presence. Let Your peace saturate every corner. Let every person who walks through those doors — surgeon, anesthesiologist, nurse, technician — carry Your wisdom in their hands and Your compassion in their heart.

I speak peace over the person facing surgery right now. Calm every anxious thought. Quiet every racing heart. Replace fear with supernatural confidence. Let them know, deep in their spirit, that they are not alone on that table — You are with them.

I pray for the surgical team. Guide the surgeon's hands with precision. Give the anesthesiologist perfect judgment. Let the nurses be attentive and thorough. Let every piece of equipment function perfectly. Let there be no complications, no surprises, no errors.

I speak to this body and command it to cooperate with the procedure. Let there be no excessive bleeding. Let blood pressure remain stable. Let the heart beat steady and strong. Protect every organ, every nerve, every vessel that is not being operated on.

Father, I pray for the recovery. Let healing come swiftly. Minimize pain. Protect from infection. Let the body respond to treatment with supernatural speed. Restore strength day by day.

Thank You, Father, that You are Jehovah Rapha — the God who heals. Thank You that no surgery is too complex for You and no body is beyond Your reach. I declare that this surgery will be successful and this person will testify of Your goodness.
