Eternal Perspective
What is seen is temporary. What is unseen is eternal. Lift your eyes.
When the present is painful, eternity is the anchor. Paul called his beatings, shipwrecks, and imprisonments "light and momentary troubles" — not because he was out of touch with reality, but because he was in touch with the weight of glory. These Scriptures lift your eyes above what you can see.

The Real Teaching
The trials you are facing are real — but they are not the whole story. 2 Corinthians 4:18 gives us the lens that changes everything: stop measuring your life by what your eyes can see. Your bank account. Your diagnosis. Your relationship status. Your career. All of it is temporary. Eternity redefines everything.
What This Looks Like
You're staring at a situation that looks impossible. The numbers don't add up. The doctors used the word "terminal." The relationship looks dead. But heaven is not subject to what earth calls impossible. Living with eternal perspective doesn't mean denying reality — it means recognizing that what you see is not all there is. Revelation 21:4 is your destination. Every tear. Every loss. Every grief. Wiped away forever.
What to Do
- Practice "above" thinking. When your mind spirals, ask: will this matter in eternity? That question re-centers everything.
- Read Revelation 21 aloud. Speak the ending over your present. Let the promised future shape how you walk through today.
- Fix your eyes on the unseen. Not denial. Refocus. The unseen is more real than what your eyes can verify.
- Live as an heir, not a victim. You have an inheritance that can never perish. Your circumstances don't define your identity.
- Fight to finish well. Paul's "I have kept the faith" is the goal. Keep going. The crown is real.
- Let eternity recalibrate your urgency. What you're anxious about today may not matter in a thousand years. What you're faithful in today — might.
