A Message from Pastor Nicole
A Love Letter to Caregivers
For the hands that serve, the heart that endures, and the compassion that shows up day after day — even when no one is watching.
Dear Caregiver,
Thank you.
Thank you for the hands that serve, the heart that endures, and the compassion that shows up day after day, even when no one is watching.
Thank you for the countless acts of kindness that may seem small to you but mean everything to the person receiving them — a gentle touch, a listening ear, a word of encouragement, a moment of patience.
Caregiving is more than a task; it is an expression of love. It is choosing to stand beside someone during some of life's most difficult moments and reminding them, through your presence, that they are not alone.
Whether you are a nurse, technician, physician, therapist, aide, family member, friend, or volunteer, please know that your work matters. Your kindness matters. You matter.
There are people walking today because of your support, smiling today because of your encouragement, and holding on today because you refused to give up on them.
May you never forget that while you are busy caring for others, you are also changing lives.
With deep gratitude and love,
Pastor Nicole Washington
